Goodbye poem

Here’s my first attempt to write a goodbye poem in English, dedicated to all colleagues in Exact Software. I wish all the best to everyone and many success for Exact Software in years to come!

 

A little more than 7 years, it’s my time to say goodbye.
So I’ve written this lovely piece dedicated to you.

Today is the day
our voyage had came a long way
on this day I have so much to say
seven years seems like seven days.

We steered a course towards the land
you’re there to lend a guiding hand
priceless ever are these moments we’ve spend
the vivid colors you’ve painted,
is the greatest gift heaven sent.

It’s been a pleasure sailing with you
I’m glad of your friendship as we grow
between the waves, what comes tomorrow
Our indescribable passion will always flow.

Today is the day
there are only two words I wanted to say
“Thank you” for the voyage,
“Thank you” for the ride.
Though this poem will fade someday
But inspiration, that is you, will always lead the way!
