Sunday, 7-Sept-2008 is beautiful day to take pictures. Clear blue skies and good visibility made this possible.
This was shot in front of my home, using RAW and post processed using Digital Photo Professional.
Normally, I seldom use RAW in photography, but this time it’s too irresistible to ignore RAW. Here are the landscapes around Awana in Genting Highlands, Malaysia.

RAW gives the extra resolution, colors and easier to post process. I can adjust much of the colors without blowing out the highlights or wearing out the colors. The result is a vivid and dramatic photo as seen by the camera sensor.
It’s been great to know Patrick Lu (from Sabah). I knew Patrick about a few months after TMnet started business back in 1995.
Though we’ve never met each other face to face but I cherish every great moment with him online. I remembered clearly one night, his TMnet mailbox got spammed and he told me about it. So we worked together to trace the culprit and took him down. He was in Sabah and I’m in KL. The joy of our teamwork was unforgettable.
Time flies and it’s almost 13 years now. My deepest condolences goes to Patrick’s family. May Patrick rest in peace.
