The greatest weekend ever!

On July 26th and 27th 2008, this was the greatest weekend in my entire life. It was a dream come true, having a chance to perform in a musical concert together with my brother and a group of highly talented people.
It was an exciting experience to perform in a musical theatre. It did take a lot of guts to be on stage and do what you don’t usually do.
The story was about a young and clueless pianist (Grey Ang – Nicky’s younger brother) in a local Shanghai nightclub. At that time, life as a nightclub pianist was always full of sorrow and loneliness that lurked underneath the smile and powdered faces of a performer. However, his implausible affinity in piano through his musical touch impressed a significant local authority, which then offered him an opportunity to further his musical talents in Great Britain, London.
For two hours, this charity musical theatre featured the grandeur and majesty of yesteryears from wonderful Chinese oldies to timeless Western classics.
This concert brought new experiences and inspirations to me. The benefit of exploring something different (i.e. music) allows us to train our brains to learn new patterns. Then we can apply these patterns to our job to solve problems creatively.
Thank you to everyone who came and support this concert. Your presence gave a lot of confidence to all the performers in that evening!
